1.     Overview

Welcome to Kylie Cloney Health Science & Wellness. These Terms and Conditions outline the policies that apply when you engage with our services. By booking a consultation, participating in a program, or purchasing any products from our clinic, you agree to these terms.

2.     Our Services We provide:

•       Functional Medicine and Nutritional Consultations

•       Life and Lifestyle Coaching

•       Health and Wellness Programs

•       Functional Medicine Test Referrals and Interpretation

•       Practitioner-Only and Prescription-Grade Supplement Dispensary

•       Lifestyle and Educational Health Resources

All services are delivered within our professional scope of practice, informed by evidence-based methods, and compliant with Australian healthcare regulations.

3.     Appointments

•       All appointments must be scheduled in advance.

•       Cancellations or changes must be made with at least 48 hours’ notice.

•       Cancellations made within 48 hours or missed appointments will incur the full consultation fee.

•       Clients may reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice, on up to two occasions, without penalty.

  • A 50% Non Refundable Deposit is applicable on prepaid initial appointment bookings. This covers admin fees and loss of income for holding an appointment slot which may have been filled by another client.

•       A 50% rescheduling fee will apply from the third reschedule onward, even if notice is provided

This policy helps protect appointment availability and ensures fairness for all clients.

4.     Fees and Payments

•       Fees for consultations, programs, and packages are listed on our website or provided on request.

•       Payment is required at the time of booking or immediately after the session.

•       Accepted payment methods include EFTPOS, credit card, and direct deposit.

•       Packages and memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

5.     Refunds and Returns

•       Due to TGA regulations, returns on practitioner-only and prescription-grade supplements are not accepted.

•       Refunds for services are considered on a case-by-case basis and only provided where required by law.

•       Digital products are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded.

6.     Privacy and Confidentiality

We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles. All personal and health information is stored securely and accessed only for the purpose of clinical care. Your information will not be shared without consent unless legally required.

7.     Informed Consent

By using our services, you confirm that you:

  • Understand that functional medicine and coaching are complementary to, not a replacement for, conventional medical care

  • Will provide complete and accurate health information

  • Acknowledge that outcomes vary based on individual factors and client engagement

8.     Functional Medicine Testing

We offer referrals for functional medicine and integrative pathology testing, including interpretation of results. These tests are used to guide personalised care plans and wellness strategies and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.

9.     Supplement Dispensary

We provide high-quality practitioner-only and prescription-grade supplements that:

  • Are available only to existing clients with an established clinical relationship

  • Must be used under practitioner supervision

  • Are not available to the public or for online retail

These are dispensed in line with TGA regulations and clinical best practices. Always follow directions for use.

10.  Life and Lifestyle Coaching

Our coaching services are designed to support mindset, behavioural change, and lifestyle transformation. Coaching does not replace medical or psychological care. Clients must be willing to actively participate in their personal growth and development.  

11.  Medical Disclaimer

Our practitioners do not diagnose or treat medical conditions unless qualified and registered to do so. All guidance, including test interpretation and supplement recommendations, is intended to support your well-being and should be used alongside your GP or specialist care.

12.  Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from the use of our services, products, or advice. You agree to take full responsibility for your health decisions and the use of our recommendations.

13.  Intellectual Property

All content and materials provided by the clinic — including handouts, digital guides, and program content — remain the intellectual property of [Clinic Name] and may not be reproduced, distributed, or modified without written permission.

14.  Updates

These Terms and Conditions are subject to periodic revision. Continued use of our services after updates indicates your acceptance of any changes.

15.  Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
